Apple "keeps it cool" with China
Apple's CEO Tim Cook has recently met China’s Li Qiang to show lasting commitment to the Chinese market.
Tim Cook, Apple's CEO has shown good act towards China. The CEO recently met with Li Qiang, China's new premier, and other high-ranking officials. China is a huge market and Apple has some strong Chinese rivals such as Huawei and Xiaomi. Tim Cook has travelled to Asia to show his brand's commitment for Asian market.

As part of an international delegation of C-level executives and academics, Tim Cook met with Li on Monday. The goal of this meeting was essentially to reaffirm Apple's commitment to the market in the face of supply chain changes and even geopolitical uncertainty. Apple has shown their commitment to Chiese and Asian market before. The current global economical situations have also affected Chinese market as well.
Wang Wentao, China's Commerce Minister, was also present at Tim Cook's meeting. The motivation behind the meeting was to show "Apple's development in China and the stabilization of the industry supply chain," according to a ministry statement. There have been some times when US and China's relationship got tense and affected brands as well. Apple tries to keep it neutral and cool as much as they can.
