Since its release, the overheating problems of the iPhone 15 Pro have been concerning, but a solution is finally in sight.
The highly anticipated iPhone 15 Pro series did not live up to the expectations of many Apple enthusiasts due to reported overheating problems. Apple has since acknowledged these thermal issues, assuring users of an impending update to resolve the situation.
The overheating concerns with the iPhone 15 series drew significant criticism towards Apple. There was even an instance where a user sustained burns due to the extreme temperatures. Initial speculations attributed these thermal problems to the new A17 Pro chipset and the iPhone's novel titanium build.

Apple, however, attributes the heating issues to third-party applications like Instagram and Uber, along with some optimization issues within the iOS 17. In response, Apple has launched the iOS 17.0.3 update which, according to the official release notes, "addresses an issue that may cause the iPhone to run warmer than expected", specifically focusing on the iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max models.
Beyond just the heating issue, Apple addressed another bug that came to light after the recent software update. The company provided further clarification to MacRumors, stating that third-party apps were primarily responsible for the overheating. Apple also confirmed that the titanium build of the phone wasn't a contributing factor, and the A17 Pro chipset operates as intended without the need for any modifications.
