Almost every detail of Oppo Find N3 Flip surfaced
The eagerly anticipated new foldable smartphone from the Chinese tech giant Oppo, the Oppo Find N3 Flip, revealed almost all of its details.
Oppo's innovative approach in the foldable smartphone market is evident with their latest Find N3 Flip. A successor to the well-received Find N2 Flip, it aims to compete with global giants like the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 5. The previous model, the Find N2 Flip, was primarily known for its impeccable design, which included a seamless fold without any visible gap. The new Find N3 Flip incorporates design modifications but stays true to its roots. A notable change is the rectangular cover screen now accompanied by a circular camera module featuring three sensors, and a nod to the legendary camera brand with Hasselblad branding. Unlike its competition, the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 5 and Motorola's Razr 40 Ultra, which have increasingly larger outer displays, Oppo chooses to retain a similar screen size for the Find N3 Flip.
The hinge's mechanism remains a point of curiosity. Its predecessor was equipped with the Generation Flexion Hinge, a design marvel, allowing the device to be positioned at varied angles, from 45 to 110 degrees. This flexibility opened up new possibilities with the camera—introducing features like the tripod mode, waist-level shooting, and a unique camcorder mode. Display specifics for the new model are still under wraps, but speculations suggest parallels with the Find N2 Flip. The older model had a 6.8-inch AMOLED display with FHD+ resolution, 120Hz adaptive refresh rate, a brightness level of 1,600 nits, and HDR capability, accompanied by a 3.26-inch secondary display.

Under the hood, the Find N3 Flip is expected to be powered by MediaTek Dimensity 9200 SoC with an impressive 16GB RAM. Enhancements are also anticipated in the battery department, with a 4,800mAh capacity, up from the previous 4,300mAh, coupled with 67W fast charging support. The camera setup includes a speculated 50-megapixel primary sensor with OIS, setting the stage for exceptional photography. Oppo has hinted at the inclusion of a portrait camera lens, a first for the series, although they've been tight-lipped about the remaining sensors.
In terms of pricing, official details remain elusive. The Find N2 Flip was priced at approximately $1,175 USD for the 8GB RAM + 256GB storage variant, giving us a ballpark estimate. Color variations for this model included Black, Gold, and Purple.
