Xiaomi has recently announced the availability of the Smart Door Lock E20 Wi-Fi version for pre-order, priced at 1,099 yuan ($155). This new model stands out with its integrated Wi-Fi feature, enhancing connectivity and offering a seamless integration into the Mijia ecosystem. This integration allows the lock to interact with other smart home devices, enabling automated actions like turning on lights or the TV upon opening or closing the door.

The design of the Xiaomi Smart Door Lock E20 Wi-Fi version is sleek, featuring a conventional handle design and offering various intuitive unlocking methods. These methods include fingerprint recognition, password entry, periodic or one-time passwords, NFC, mobile phone Bluetooth, and traditional keys, providing flexibility and convenience to users.

The device is equipped with AI 3D fingerprint recognition technology, boasting a 99.2% recognition rate and a quick 0.5-second recognition speed. The AI algorithm enhances the fingerprint recognition over time, ensuring faster unlocking with prolonged use. The lock is also designed with built-in sensors that monitor its status in real time, adding an extra layer of security.

One of the distinctive features of this smart door lock is its integrated smart doorbell. Pressing the doorbell sends an audible alert from the inner panel and notifications to the Mijia APP and Xiaoai speakers. This feature adds convenience and enhances the overall user experience.

The lock is powered by AA batteries and has an impressive battery life of up to 15 months. Users receive timely reminders when the battery level falls below 10%. In case of battery depletion, the lock supports Type-C emergency power supply unlocking, ensuring users are never locked out.
