The new mechanical gaming keyboard stands out with its features
Recognized as one of the leading names in the keyboard market, Keychron has once again made a mark with its mechanical gaming keyboard.
Keychron, a notable player in the tech market, introduced its Lemokey L3 gaming mechanical keyboard in August, with a price tag starting at 908 Yuan ($124). It's worth noting that this model is now accessible for purchase in China through various online platforms.
The Lemokey L3 showcases a trio of connection modes: Wireless 2.4G, Bluetooth 5.1, and Wired, providing users with the flexibility to connect up to three devices simultaneously. This adaptability ensures seamless multitasking for those juggling multiple tasks. Its design does not skimp on durability; it's crafted from 6063 aluminum, treated with anodized, polished, and sandblasted finishes. This keyboard's sturdiness is paired with a CNC machined body that exudes quality.

A significant attribute of the L3 is its integration of QMK/VIA software. This addition paves the way for users to remap keys with ease and set up macros without hassle. Furthermore, the L3 embraces a gasket structure, promoting a soft keystroke experience, a feature many users appreciate. The keyboard also incorporates Kailh Jupiter switches, boasting an impressive lifespan of up to 80 million keystrokes. In terms of durability, it doesn't end there; the OEM PBT Double-Shot Keycaps guarantee further endurance. Another user-friendly aspect is an integrated multimedia knob, which facilitates convenient music and volume adjustments.
Performance is where the Lemokey L3 truly shines. It boasts a 1000 Hz polling rate in its 2.4 GHz wireless mode and provides hot-swappability. This means users can effortlessly interchange most 3-pin and 5-pin MX-style switches, eliminating the need for soldering. For the sake of user comfort, this gaming keyboard integrates a double-gasket mount design, renowned for enhancing typing sound and comfort levels. Additionally, it features 22 RGB backlight settings, granting users the ability to customize hue, saturation, brightness, and effect speed.
When we delve into the specifications, the keyboard dimensions sit at 401 x 137 mm, with a weight of roughly 1976 grams when fully assembled. On the performance front, it
maintains a 1000 Hz polling rate for both its 2.4 GHz wireless and wired modes. However, its Bluetooth functionality operates at a slightly reduced 90 Hz. In terms of battery longevity, users can expect up to 200 hours with the backlight off and approximately 100 hours at the lowest RGB brightness setting.
In related news, Keychron also recently unveiled the M3 4K wireless mouse in China, priced at 328 yuan ($45).
