Ahead of its official launch, the complete specifications of the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 have surfaced in a notable leak.
Qualcomm is set to unveil its next-generation Snapdragon chip at the annual Snapdragon Summit tomorrow, but a recent leak has prematurely disclosed the comprehensive specifications of the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor. According to leaked marketing materials obtained by MSPoweruser, the upcoming SoC promises a substantial performance upgrade over its predecessor, the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2, along with a range of innovative AI capabilities.

Furthermore, it will be complemented by a new Adreno 750 GPU, offering a remarkable 50% boost in power compared to the current Adreno 740.
In the realm of AI processing, the chip features an upgraded Hexagon neural processor (NPU) that boasts an impressive 98% increase in speed and 40% greater efficiency. This advanced NPU will unlock a host of AI capabilities on the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3, including image enhancement, object removal from videos, and AI-powered background generation. Interestingly, the leaked information reveals the chip's ability to run AI models like Stable Diffusion and Meta's Llama 2.
