Samsung has introduced the Galaxy SmartTag 2 in the Indian market, following its global launch earlier this month. The SmartTag 2 boasts an enhanced Compass View feature, displaying directional arrows to pinpoint the SmartTag 2's location relative to your position. Notably, it seamlessly pairs with any Galaxy smartphone that supports UWB technology.

The SmartThings Find app has also undergone improvements, streamlining the process of integrating newly registered SmartTags. It now offers a full-screen map view and a user-friendly interface for more straightforward tracking.

One standout feature of the SmartTag 2 is its remarkable battery life. Thanks to the Power Saving Mode, it can endure an impressive 700 days on a single charge. Even in Normal Mode, it surpasses previous models, providing up to 500 days of tracking, which is a substantial 50% improvement.

Furthermore, the SmartTag 2 comes equipped with a metal loop for accessories, and its IP67 rating for water and dust resistance ensures it's well-suited for demanding environments. It's a compact device, measuring just 28.8 x 52.44 x 8.0 mm and weighing a mere 13.75 grams.
