Samsung plans to continue what it did in the Galaxy S23 with the S24 series
Just like in the Galaxy S23 series, the South Korean tech giant Samsung will employ an enhanced Qualcomm chipset in the Galaxy S24 series.
Recent benchmark tests of an imminent Nubia phone have provided valuable insights, strongly indicating that Samsung's forthcoming Galaxy S24, scheduled for release early next year, will employ a unique version of the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC.
A few weeks ago, the Galaxy S24+ made its presence felt on Geekbench, highlighting its reliance on a fresh Qualcomm processor. But at the time, it was challenging to gauge its capabilities as there was no reference point, considering other soon-to-be-released smartphones equipped with the next-generation Qualcomm chip were absent.

This gap in information was addressed when a subsequent Geekbench listing showcased the Nubia “NX769J”, presumed to be the RedMagic 9 in the making. This entry showed striking similarities between the Nubia model and the Galaxy S24+ in terms of their “pineapple” motherboard and the “walt” governor, confirming the utilization of the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC for both handsets.
Intriguingly, details also emerged that Samsung has plans to introduce an enhanced version of the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chip specifically for the Galaxy S24, which is distinctively labeled as “for Galaxy”.
