Samsung introduces the new ViewFinity S6 series monitors
The South Korean tech giant Samsung added another advanced monitor to their lineup. What features can we expect from the ViewFinity S6 series?
Following the introduction of the ViewFinity S8 and S9 monitors earlier this year, the brand has expanded its range with two new models: the ViewFinity S65UC (S34C652UAU) and ViewFinity S65VC (S34C652VAU). These displays are designed primarily for creative professionals but are also suitable for general content consumption and relaxed gaming experiences.
Both models feature a 34-inch VA curved panel with a pronounced 1,000r curvature. They deliver a crisp resolution of 3,440 x 1,440 pixels and employ a 21:9 aspect ratio. With a maximum refresh rate of 100Hz, these monitors promise fluid visuals and minimal motion blur. Audio-wise, they are fortified with integrated 5W speakers. Remarkably, the screens can represent 1.07 billion colors, ensuring vivid and precise color accuracy. Gamers will appreciate the inclusion of AMD FreeSync, minimizing screen tearing and ensuring smoother gameplay.
These monitors are not just about stunning visuals. They are replete with features such as Eye Saver Mode and Flicker-Free technology to diminish eye fatigue during prolonged usage. They support both Picture-In-Picture and Picture-by-Picture capabilities, enabling users to multitask seamlessly. Other notable functions encompass ImageSize, Off Timer Plus, HDR10 support, Auto Source Switch+, Adaptive Picture, and a KVM switch, catering to diverse user requirements.

On the connectivity front, these monitors are equipped with a DisplayPort 1x 1.2 EA, HDMI port, and an audio out jack. Additionally, multiple USB ports are present: two on the S65VC and three on the S65UC. A USB-C port with a 90W power delivery is another significant addition, alongside a LAN port for broader connection possibilities.
Aesthetically, both monitors are encased in a sleek black design, offering versatility with tilt, height, and swivel adjustments. Their compatibility with VESA wall mounts ensures that users have the flexibility to place them either on suitable stands or directly on walls. As for availability, both the ViewFinity S65UC and ViewFinity S65VC are expected to debut in Germany by the close of August 2023. Pricing details remain undisclosed.
