Samsung has expanded its product range in the Indian market with the introduction of the Galaxy SmartTag 2. This new version is a noticeable upgrade from its predecessor, especially with its enhanced Compass View functionality. Users now benefit from directional arrows that show the location and distance of the SmartTag 2 relative to their position. It pairs effortlessly with any Galaxy smartphone that supports UWB.

The associated SmartThings Find app has also been refined. Newly registered SmartTags now offer a more comprehensive map view with a user-friendly interface, simplifying the tracking process even further. But what truly distinguishes the SmartTag 2 is its remarkable battery performance.

With the Power Saving Mode activated, the device can go up to a staggering 700 days on a single charge. Without this mode, it still impressively offers up to 500 days, marking a 50% increase compared to its predecessors.

In addition to these features, Samsung has designed the SmartTag 2 to be robust and versatile. It comes with a metal loop, making it accessory-friendly. Its IP67 rating also ensures that it can withstand challenging environments being both water and dust-resistant. Despite all these features, the tag maintains a compact design, measuring at 28.8 x 52.44 x 8.0 mm and weighing a mere 13.75 grams.
