Release date for Xiaomi TV S Pro Mini LED 85 inch is set

Xiaomi has expanded its television line-up by introducing the 65-inch and 75-inch versions of the TV S Pro in China. The company doesn't stop there. A recent announcement confirmed that an 85-inch version will be launched on October 26, coinciding with the debut of Xiaomi's 14 series smartphones in the country.

At the core of the Xiaomi TV S Pro is its remarkable Mini LED screen technology. If you're unfamiliar with Mini-LED, it's an advanced form of LCD TV panel that employs smaller LEDs for backlighting. This innovation delivers a stellar image quality marked by profound blacks, luminous highlights, and enhanced contrast. While the size is a significant upgrade, it's expected that most of the TV's other attributes will remain consistent with its predecessors. The TV offers a pristine 4K resolution screen, further enhanced by a high-refresh-rate Mini LED display clocking in at 144Hz. Impressively, the screen can achieve a peak brightness of 2200 nits and is backed by 10-bit color & Dolby Vision certification.

Performance-wise, Xiaomi has embedded a quad-core A73 processor into the TV, guaranteeing smooth functionality. It's coupled with 4GB of RAM and provides 64GB storage capacity for apps and various content. On the connectivity front, the TV is well-equipped with 2 HDMI 2.1 ports, 1 HDMI 2.0 port, 1 AV input, 2 USB ports, 1 optical input, the latest Wi-Fi 6, and NFC remote control compatibility.
