Being one of the prominent names in the monitor market, Philips launched another model for gamers in the European market.

In an endeavor to elevate its monitor offerings, Philips has unveiled the Evnia 49M2C8900 for both the EU and UK markets. This 48.9-inch QD OLED monitor boasts a remarkable ultra-wide curved design, with a 32:9 aspect ratio, achieving a sharp pixel density of 108.77 PPI.
The Evnia 49M2C8900 delivers a crystal-clear visual experience with its impressive 5120 x 1440 pixel resolution. Paired with a blazing 240 Hz refresh rate and an almost instantaneous 0.03 ms (Grey to Grey) response time, users are guaranteed a smooth viewing experience. Moreover, with the DisplayHDR True Black 400 certification, it ensures striking HDR visuals that are bound to captivate any user.
In addition to its top-tier display quality, Philips has incorporated a haze-free, anti-glare, and low-reflection coating on the screen. This ensures optimal visibility, regardless of the surrounding lighting conditions. With support for 1.07 billion colors and a Delta E of <2 in sRGB, color accuracy is not left to chance. Impressively, the panel's color coverage extends to 127.4% for NTSC, 153.1% for sRGB, and 125.2% for Adobe RGB.

Addressing the needs of professionals and multitaskers, the monitor also offers Multiview with Picture-in-Picture (PIP) and Picture-by-Picture (PBP) modes. Augmenting the overall user experience, built-in speakers with DTS Sound enhancement promise to deliver an impactful 30W output through a combination of 2 tweeters and 2 woofers.
Connectivity on the Evnia 49M2C8900 is seamless and versatile. It is fitted with HDMI 2.1, DisplayPort 1.4, and USB-C ports, the latter supporting both Power Delivery and DP Alt mode. An added convenience, the USB Hub features 4 USB-A downstream ports, with 2 of them supporting fast charge, and a USB-B upstream port. The monitor is also compatible with KVM functionality and can be mounted using a VESA pattern of 100 x 100 mm.
