Oppo Enco Air 2 impresses with both its features and battery life
Oppo, known for launching successful products consecutively, introduces us to the Enco Air 2 model this time.
First introduced in China in January 2022, the Oppo Enco Air 2 has been revamped and is back in a fresh avatar. The newly launched model, dubbed the Oppo Enco Air 2 New Sound Edition, keeps the initial design intact but brings along several exciting features, making it an enticing option at its price point.
The New Sound Edition improves upon its predecessor by incorporating Bluetooth 5.3, replacing the older 5.2 version. While Oppo has remained silent about the driver size, speculations suggest it might continue with the 13.4mm units seen in the older variant. A significant highlight is the earphones' fresh sound signature and spatial sound effects, enhancing the auditory experience. They also boast Viper Atmos certification, though the absence of Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) might be felt by some.

Perhaps the most impressive enhancement is the battery life. The earbuds now promise an extended playback time of up to 35 hours, a commendable 11-hour jump from the original's 24 hours.
Available in the elegant shades of Light Sea Blue and Clouds are White, the earbuds have been priced competitively at ¥179 ($25). However, those who jump onto the pre-order bandwagon, which began on September 27, can grab them for just ¥149 ($20). The official sale is slated to commence on October 7. Given Oppo's history, there's optimism that this model might soon make its way to global markets.
