Logitech officially announced its next-generation gaming headset
The new gaming headset G Pro X 2, announced by Logitech, has become the talk of the gaming world with its superior features and price.
Logitech has unveiled its latest advancement in gaming audio technology: the Logitech G Pro X 2 Lightspeed gaming headset, equipped with groundbreaking graphene audio drivers. Graphene, a novel form of carbon, has been the subject of substantial scientific interest and potential for two decades, promising revolutionary changes across various industries. In the field of audio drivers, it offers a lightweight and highly reliable alternative to traditional materials.
According to Logitech, the G Pro X 2 gaming headset integrates graphene drivers that marry rigidity with an almost inconceivable lightness. This combination allows for high-fidelity, low-distortion sound production, significantly enhancing users' gaming experiences.
The G Pro X 2 headset utilizes a 50mm graphene diaphragm, contributing to a richly immersive audio experience. This headset weighs around 25g less than its predecessor, a testament to the lightweight properties of graphene. The audio quality is superb for gaming, although the comparative difference with non-graphene driver headsets is yet to be conclusively established.
An impressive feature of the headset is its surround sound and DTS capabilities, which have proven particularly effective in shooter games. Users can discern different sound directions with ease, potentially resulting in more precise decisions during gaming sessions. This feature can provide gamers with an added competitive edge.

In terms of connectivity, the G Pro X 2 headset offers Bluetooth and a 3.5mm audio jack, enabling connections to smartphones and operation without the Lightspeed wireless dongle.
Another notable feature of the G Pro X 2 headset is its USB-C charging support, offering a battery life twice that of the original Pro X. The headset can deliver up to 50 hours of gaming on a single charge, a considerable improvement on the original Pro X's 20 hours. Additionally, for user comfort during extended gaming sessions, the headset incorporates rotating hinges and swap-out ear pads, available in either leatherette or velour. The package also includes a detachable microphone and a carrying case.
The Logitech G Pro X 2 gaming headset is set to retail at $249 in the US and €269 in Europe starting May 30. With a host of enhanced features, lighter weight, and longer battery life, it represents a notable upgrade on its predecessor, with only a modest increase in price. Information about the headset's availability in other regions is yet to be confirmed.
