Following their display of the new 13th Gen Core i9 and RTX 4050 equipped ThinkCentre M90a Pro Gen 4 AIO PC, Lenovo is gearing up to impress the gaming community once more. Their latest offering, the Legion R27fc-30 gaming monitor, is targeted specifically at FPS and esports aficionados due to its high refresh rate on its 27-inch screen.

The Legion R27fc-30 monitor from Lenovo stands out with its 27-inch display, crafted with a 3-sided NearEdgeless design employing VA panel technology. With WLED backlighting, the display offers a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels and sports a 16:9 aspect ratio. The brightness measures at a typical 350 cd/m², complemented by a contrast ratio of 3000:1. It ensures clear viewing from various angles, boasting both horizontal and vertical perspectives of 178 degrees.

Performance-wise, the monitor promises a Moving Picture Response Time (MPRT) of just 0.5 ms. Its already impressive 240Hz refresh rate can be boosted to 280Hz, though users should proceed with this feature judiciously to avoid inconsistent display performance.

On the color spectrum, the Legion R27fc-30 does not disappoint either. It provides an extensive color coverage with a 99% sRGB and 90% DCI-P3 ratio. The color area ratio stands at 125% sRGB, and the monitor can depict 16.7 million colors, thanks to its 8-bit color depth. The screen has also undergone an anti-glare treatment to minimize reflections.

Incorporating audio features, the monitor has integrated speakers with a combined output of 6W. Its power consumption is rated at 24W during typical usage, but can peak at 47W.

Enhancing the user experience further are special attributes like HDR10 compliance, support tailored for gaming consoles, a natural low blue light mode, and interoperability with Lenovo Artery, which acts as Lenovo's Display Control Center. Ensuring smooth gameplay, it also comes with VESA Adaptive Sync and is both NVIDIA G-SYNC and AMD FreeSync compatible.

While the monitor sounds promising, details regarding its pricing and availability remain under wraps.
