iQOO's new earbuds model has officially been unveiled
Chinese tech company iQOO has introduced its new earbuds. Here's the iQOO TWS 1 for those seeking a device focused on cost-performance ratio.
The iQOO 11S smartphone was unveiled today in China by iQOO, accompanied by a new TWS earphone launch. This new audio device, branded as the iQOO TWS 1, comes with a unique BMW edition. The device's design and features are worth noting.
Taking inspiration from the design of Apple AirPods Pro, the iQOO TWS 1 boasts a similar silhouette, featuring a stem and silicon ear tips. The special BMW Edition carries the iconic Red, Black, and Blue stripes of BMW Motorsport on its pebble-shaped storage and charging case. To increase durability and user convenience, the TWS earphones have been awarded an IP54 certification for dust and water resistance.
Diving into the audio specs, the iQOO TWS 1 is armed with a 12.2mm dynamic driver, providing superior sound quality. It includes a smart noise cancellation feature of up to 49dB, along with triple microphones to ensure crisp call quality. These earphones support end-to-end aptX Lossless transmission and feature a 52ms low-latency mode. The sound output has been fine-tuned by the Golden Ears Acoustic Lab, enabling 3D panoramic audio and 3D binaural recording support.
Powering the iQOO TWS 1 is a 420mAh battery that is touted to provide up to 42 hours of usage when paired with the charging and storage case. On a single charge, the earbuds are expected to deliver up to 10.5 hours of audio playback. The device also features dual connection capability and a 'find my earbuds' function.
The iQOO TWS 1 is available at a price of CNY 399 (~$55) in two variants: Black and the BMW Edition in White. The Black edition will be available for purchase starting from July 10, while the BMW Edition will be up for sale from July 21.
