Huawei launches its new smart desk lamp

In a recent collaboration, Huawei and Darren have introduced a cutting-edge smart desk lamp named the Huawei Smart Selection Darren Smart Desk Lamp 3 Pro. This innovative product has just been made available for public testing via Huawei's online store. The initial price tag is 429 yuan ($58), but for those participating in the testing phase, it's been reduced to a promotional offer of 329 yuan ($45).

Showcasing a minimalist design, the lamp's dimensions are approximately 210 x 480 x 250mm, making it a versatile addition for various home environments. The eco-conscious consumers will be pleased to know that it's made from environmentally friendly ABS material.

One of the remarkable features is its patented spring pivot joints. These joints allow users to adjust the lamp head to various angles, up to 60° forward/backward, 160° upward/downward, and 170° left/right. Such flexibility ensures personalized lighting angles that can be tailored to one's height and seating posture. Plus, when not in use, the lamp can be folded, maximizing space efficiency.

Stability won't be an issue with its robust base, which is designed to firmly hold its place on any surface. User-friendliness is enhanced with a touch-sensitive panel which has intuitive controls such as power, reading modes, screen reading, light formulas, and night light. An included brightness adjustment slider provides further customization. Users can execute a range of commands like adjusting light intensity, activating the night light, and setting up network connections with simple gestures like short presses, long presses, and swipes.

Distinguishing itself from earlier models, the desk lamp boasts a third-generation SSDT Stereoscopic Light. This feature uses 96 lamp beads for side emission, which increases light coverage by an impressive 100%. It not only reduces shadowy areas by 50% but also increases light uniformity by 1.2 times. This ensures evenly distributed lighting, suitable even for desks spanning 1.2 meters in length.

Eye health is paramount, and the lamp's "Smart Eye Management" is a testament to that. Users can schedule rest reminders and receive detailed reports on their lighting usage. An intelligent photosensitivity feature further adds value, as the lamp automatically detects changes in room lighting and adjusts its brightness in response.

Lastly, for those who thrive on interconnectedness, the lamp promises easy integration with other smart home devices. It supports quick smartphone connectivity, especially with devices running HarmonyOS 2.0.0 or later versions, ensuring a seamless user experience.
