Good news for GeForce Now users!
There are news of a new collaboration between two important names in the gaming world, Xbox and GeForce. But what will be the benefit for gamers from this?
The Xbox Game Pass is gearing up to introduce some of its games to Nvidia's GeForce Now service for PCs. This move is part of Microsoft's latest expansion, which includes bringing Xbox Game Pass titles to the cloud gaming platform.
In a recent collaboration with Team Green, Microsoft is set to bring a selection of games from the PC version of the Xbox Game Pass to GeForce Now. These games will be offered in addition to those purchased through other platforms such as Steam, Epic Games Store, and Ubisoft Connect. Interestingly, Microsoft has its own cloud gaming service, xCloud, but it is compatible with only a limited number of devices.
Good news for GeForce Now users!
However, it's worth noting that not all titles from the Xbox Game Pass library will transition to the GeForce Now service. Instead, a curated list of games, yet to be announced, will be made available. This announcement closely follows Microsoft's recent addition of a few new titles to its Xbox Game Pass, which included games like Amnesia: The Bunker.
According to an official statement, "Today we shared that Game Pass members will soon be able to stream select PC games from the library through Nvidia GeForce NOW. This will enable the PC Game Pass catalog to be played on any device that GeForce NOW streams to, like low spec PCs, Macs, Chromebooks, mobile devices, TVs, and more, and we’ll be rolling this out in the months ahead."
