At the ongoing Computex 2023, Asus has raised the bar in the world of gaming monitors. After recently showcasing a remarkable 49-inch curved monitor equipped with a 144Hz QD-OLED panel, the brand now introduces the ROG Strix XG259QN gaming monitor. What sets this device apart is its extraordinary overclockable refresh rate of up to 380Hz, a noteworthy feature for gamers globally.
This innovative monitor is particularly designed for esports, arriving with a 24.5-inch IPS panel boasting a native resolution of 1080p. The standard refresh rate of this unit stands at an already impressive 360Hz, but the innovative capability to overclock this to an astounding 380Hz positions it uniquely in the market. Additionally, this monitor embraces AMD FreeSync Premium to counter image tearing problems, coupled with Adaptive Sync for variable refresh rate technology. Asus integrates its distinct 'ELMB-sync' feature, a backlight reduction mode constructed to minimize motion blur while functioning alongside VRR.
