ASUS draws attention with its new mechanical keyboard model

Asus has recently expanded its color palette with the introduction of the Moonlight White variant for its renowned ROG Azoth mechanical keyboard. Currently available for pre-order in China, it's priced at 1799 yuan, roughly equivalent to $246.

The ROG Azoth stands out due to its distinct design. Constructed with a robust metal body, it includes an OLED display that provides users with system information and keyboard settings. Designed to optimize desk space, it adopts a compact 75% layout. Additionally, its keycaps are colored in white and grey, which effortlessly differentiates functional keys from standard letters. For added convenience, it incorporates a built-in three-way knob, allowing users to seamlessly adjust settings.

When it comes to performance, the ROG Azoth doesn’t disappoint. It's equipped with proprietary NX Snowblade White switches, ensuring light linear keypresses characterized by a 45g actuation force and 3.6mm key travel, resulting in fluid responsiveness. For those who prefer a more tactile feedback, the keyboard also provides an option of NX Ice Storm Grey switches. These come with a keypress design featuring a 40g initial force and a 65g tactile force.

Highlighting its adaptability, the keyboard supports full-key hot-swappable technology, making it compatible with both 3-pin and 5-pin switches. Its other notable features include the GASKET structure, ROG's custom large key structure, and RGB lighting.

In terms of connectivity, the ROG Azoth is versatile. Users can opt for a wired Type-C connection or choose wireless connectivity through Bluetooth and 2.4GHz. Remarkably, its battery longevity can stretch up to 2,000 hours. Moreover, for user-friendliness across different systems, it provides easy toggling between Windows and MacOS modes.
