During its annual Worldwide Developers Conference, Apple made a significant debut by unveiling its inaugural spatial computing device, the Apple Vision Pro. This mixed reality headset marks Apple's entry into the realm of virtual reality (VR) and augmented reality (AR) experiences. The standout feature of the Apple Vision Pro, known as EyeSight, utilizes the integrated sensors surrounding the battery-powered device, enabling users to seamlessly observe their real-world surroundings while immersed in digital content.

Switching between AR and VR modes is made effortless through a conveniently placed dial located on the right edge of the wearable. To further support the growth of the platform, Apple also introduced the visionOS Software Development Kit (SDK) specifically tailored for the headset, empowering developers to create customized applications.

Additionally, reports suggest that the Apple Vision Pro will offer a "guest" mode, further expanding its versatility and accessibility to a wider range of users.

As reported by 9to5Mac, the visionOS SDK release has unveiled the guest mode feature for the Apple Vision Pro headset. This functionality permits individuals who are not the registered owners of the headset to use it. The owner will have the choice to enable or disable this guest mode option.

Furthermore, the owner can secure the headset by implementing Optic ID, Apple's biometric authentication feature that scans the wearer's iris. This additional security measure ensures that guest users are unable to access certain applications or settings without proper authentication.
