Acer launches its new gaming monitor
One of the major figures in the computer world, Acer, introduced its new gaming monitor to the users.
Acer has recently unveiled the Predator X32Q FS, a 32-inch Mini LED gaming monitor, exclusively in the Chinese market. While primarily aimed at gamers, this monitor stands out as a suitable choice for creative professionals owing to its expansive color range coverage.
Featuring a 4K resolution of 3840 x 2160, the Predator X32Q FS boasts an impressive refresh rate of up to 165Hz and a swift response time of just 1ms, ensuring smooth and crisp visuals during gameplay. Its uniqueness is further accentuated by the advanced backlight technology, equipped with 1152 Mini LED zones. This technology has garnered it the VESA DisplayHDR 1000 certification, a testament to its remarkable contrast and luminosity.
When contrasted with conventional IPS monitors, the Mini LED IPS variant clearly outperforms in terms of contrast and delivering deeper blacks. Such superiority is attributed to the mini LED technology which permits granular control over the backlighting, enhancing the viewing experience, especially during movie sessions or gameplay with predominantly dark scenes. Furthermore, this technology effectively mitigates backlight bleeding, facilitating a more immersive experience.

Gamers can also rejoice as it is compatible with both AMD FreeSync Premium and NVIDIA G-Sync, ensuring a seamless, tear-free gaming experience. As for connectivity options, the monitor is equipped with DisplayPort 1.4, two HDMI 2.1 ports, USB Type-C, audio in/out, and four USB 3.0 ports. Additionally, it incorporates KVM switching and features integrated 7W speakers. Adjusting the monitor's position is a breeze with its flexible tilt, height, swivel, and rotation capabilities.
At present, the Predator X32Q FS retails at CNY 4,999 ($687) and is anticipated to begin shipping towards October's end. Although its global availability remains uncertain, further updates are expected in the near future.
