Riot Games, the developer of Valorant, is gearing up to launch the Premier Global Open Beta on April 25, which promises to take competitive gaming to new heights for players around the world. Riot Games has released a detailed FAQ to guide players and teams on how to prepare for the event, highlighting the game's accessibility for all types of players.

Here's all you need to know about Valorant Premier Global Open Beta

Riot Games has announced that the Premier Global Open Beta for Valorant will launch on April 25th and run until May 23rd. During this time, there will be an enrollment period from April 25th to 28th, weekly matches from April 29th to May 20th, and the playoff tournament will start on May 21st. It is important to note that this is a test version of Premier and the schedule may differ from the official launch.

On the launch day, there will be a full-screen takeover with Premier as the second entry under Play in the Homepage navigation. Additionally, an explanation model will pop up when players visit the Premier Hub for the first time.

How to register to Valorant Premier global beta

To participate in the Valorant Premier Global Open Beta, players need to complete three requirements. Firstly, they must verify their account via SMS. Secondly, they need to have completed a ranked placement during any Act. Lastly, players need to form or join a team of 5-7 players. Once enrolled, players cannot join another team and will be restricted to just one team.

There are no restrictions on who can be on a team together, but some restrictions may come into play after enrollment. Once the roster is set and the team owner has enrolled the team, players need to select a zone to determine their match schedule and the servers they will play on.

Players will be placed into one of 20 Divisions based on the average MMR of their team's top five players. They will only be able to invite other players who would not cause their team to change Divisions.

What about matches, schedule, and points system?

During the Premier Global Open Beta, teams will need to earn Premier scores to qualify for the Playoff tournament. Each week, players will be able to play up to two matches, earning 100 points for a win and 25 points for a loss. At the moment, teams will need to reach 375 points to qualify for the Playoff tournament, but this may change after the Beta test.

On the last day of the Global Open Beta, Playoff tournament matches will occur, using a map pick-and-ban system similar to pro matches. Winning teams will be declared the Champions, receiving a unique Player Card and Title, while losing teams will compete for third place in the consolation bracket.

All players who participate in at least one match will earn an in-game title and player card. The next phase of Premier will begin in July, with the full launch scheduled for after VCT Champions 2023 in August.
