Valheim to launch on Xbox Series X/S and Xbox Game Pass on March 14th, see the trailer here
Valheim released a new trailer for Xbox Series X and is set to launch on Microsoft's consoles in March.
Valheim, the popular indie survival game, which became a huge success on PC two years ago, now has a release date for its console version. The game will be available on Xbox One and Xbox Series X/S on March 14th, and it will be free for Xbox Game Pass subscribers. The game is already available on PC Game Pass.
Valheim will get a Xbox boost, here is the launch date trailer
Valheim was developed by a team of five at Iron Gate Studio and became a massive success, selling 5.7 million copies within its first five weeks of release. It was also one of the highest-earning games on Steam in 2021.
The game allows players to collaborate with up to nine of their friends, where they can go on hunting trips, gather resources, build bases, sail the seas, explore different biomes, defeat bosses, and engage in fishing in a Viking afterlife generated procedurally.
Valheim will initially be available as a game preview on Xbox, as the game is still in early access, and there is more to be added to it. According to the game's Twitter account, there is still a lot of work to be done before the game can leave early access. Xbox players will be able to play with their friends who play on PC, as the game has crossplay support.
