Sony PS5 Spider-Man 2 bundle announced
The Japanese tech giant Sony introduces another package to make its popular console PlayStation 5 more appealing.
Sony has recently unveiled a new limited-edition bundle for the renowned PlayStation 5 gaming console. This bundle is themed around the company's upcoming superhero game, Spider-Man 2.
The Japanese tech behemoth intends to launch the exclusive PS5 Spider-Man 2 bundle on July 28, with official sales beginning on September 1. For those who already possess a PlayStation 5 console, they have the option to simply purchase the custom faceplates and DualSense wireless controllers that come as part of this bundle. The bundle showcases a specially designed PS5, inspired by the Spider-Man 2 game, a motif carried through to the controller.
The aesthetic of the controller and the PS5 console itself subtly reflects the narrative of Spider-Man 2. Spider-Man’s Advanced Suit appears to be gradually enveloped by the symbiote, a clear nod to the popular character Venom from the Marvel’s Spider-Man series. This intriguing bundle is scheduled to launch ahead of Spider-Man 2, which is the third game developed by Insomniac Games. The game itself is slated for release on October 20th, 2023.
Sony is yet to announce the pricing for the bundle or its individual items but has confirmed the bundle’s worldwide availability. It will be available for purchase in various regions, including the Netherlands, Italy, Spain, Austria, Portugal, the United States, the United Kingdom, France, Germany, Belgium, and Luxembourg.
