Sony demonstrated the Mocopi system in games and the metaverse during its CES presentation. Additionally, the company unveiled Project Leonardo, a brand-new modular controller made to assist gamers with disabilities. Many brands are innovating for people with disabilities these days, in that sense Sony also joined this trend.

The controller has a large, round base that is made to sit flat on a table. There are also a few different ways to mount it. A single Project Leonardo controller or two can be used by a player, and a DualSense controller can also be used. One, two, or even three controllers can be combined to form a single virtual controller in this manner.  The buttons on each Project Leonardo device can be changed to suit the player's preferences by switching them out. It is possible to map two functions to the same button.

Plug-in joysticks are available in a variety of sizes to accommodate the player's accessibility requirements. The player's profile stores button mappings and other configurations, which can have up to three different configurations. There are four auxiliary ports (based on 3.5mm jacks) that will allow third-party switches, buttons, and analog sticks to be plugged in. The base Project Leonardo controller is highly customizable, but it also has the potential for more. Just like any other button on the controller, they can be set up.
