Tech giant Sony has decided to focus on PlayStation 6 over PlayStation 5 Pro. Here are all the details.
For some time, reports and claims suggested that Sony is developing a new gaming console. The PlayStation 5 Pro is thought to be the model in question. However, it appears that the company intends to skip ahead to the PlayStation 6 of the following generation.

It was initially thought that the Japanese tech giant was developing a PS5 Slim model. However, subsequent reports suggested that a PlayStation 5 Pro with a higher price tag was also in the works. Following this, it was also speculated that the business might only be developing a Pro model. Regarding to company's plans now more repors have showed up. It looks like Sony is putting more of its attention on the development of its next PlayStation model than on a mid-generation upgrade.
According to its previous cycles, the company typically introduces a new console variant from the same generation two years after its initial release, as demonstrated by the PS4 Pro and Slim's arrival approximately two years after the base PS4. Tom Henderson claims that Microsoft's Xbox lineup and Sony's lack of competition have caused Sony to rethink its plans to update the PS5 hardware.
