Redfall release date confirmed for Xbox, PC and Game Pass, watch new gameplay footage now
Redfall, a game developed by Arkane Studios known for creating Dishonored and Deathloop, has finally announced its release date and has provided an in-depth look at gameplay.
Bethesda has two highly anticipated games that were set to release this year, Starfield and Redfall. Redfall is a vampiric co-op multiplayer shooter. However, in May 2022, the release of both games were delayed with no new date announced but we have good news this time.
Redfall release date and gameplay revealed
Redfall will be available for Xbox Series X|S and PC on May 2nd, 2023, and will also be available on Xbox Game Pass as confirmed by the company.
At the latest Xbox Developer Direct event, attendees were given an extensive and detailed look at the multiplayer horror shooter Redfall. The game's developer, Arkane Studios, also revealed that the game's setting, the town of Redfall, is the largest map the studio has ever created.
Arkane promised that the map would include not only the main story missions, but also side missions, NPC survivors with whom to interact, difficult boss fights, and a lot more. You can, however, unwind in one of the designated safe hub areas if you want to escape the bloody chaos.
Ricardo Bare, Arkane's Creative Director, makes the point during the trailer's ten minutes of length that this particular location is the largest Arkane-built setting. That's before the in-depth look at Redfall's gameplay and world.
