Lenovo, wanting to elevate its gaming reputation with the Legion Go model, intends to offer this device in numerous markets worldwide.
Lenovo recently showcased its latest innovation, the Legion Go handheld gaming console, at the IFA 2023 event. Eager gamers will be pleased to know that it is slated for a global release in November. Interestingly, Lenovo has also started promoting the console in China, hinting at its imminent launch in the domestic market. While there's no specific release date or price for the Chinese market, the device will retail for 799 euros internationally. Given the usual trend, it's expected that the product might be priced more affordably in China.
The Legion Go is a feature-rich handheld gaming console. One of its highlights is the detachable controllers, designed for enhanced gaming flexibility. Furthermore, it comes with a built-in kickstand, Hall effect sticks, and a unique optical sensor on the right controller, elevating the gaming experience.

The device sports an 8.8-inch PureSight display, boasting a resolution of 2,560 x 1,600, a 16:10 aspect ratio, 500 nits peak brightness, a 97.3 percent DCI-P3 color coverage, and an impressive 144Hz refresh rate.
When it comes to performance, the Legion Go doesn't disappoint. It's equipped with AMD Ryzen Z1 and Ryzen Z1 Extreme processors, coupled with 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM. Storage options vary, starting from 256GB, going up to 1TB of PCIe 4.0 NVMe M.2 storage. Running on the Windows 11 operating system, this console promises smooth gaming sessions. Powering the device is a 49.2Wh battery, which supports fast charging up to 65W. Each detachable controller houses a 900mAh battery pack. In terms of connectivity, gamers will appreciate the 3.5mm headphone jack, MicroSD card slot for additional storage, and two USB-Type C ports. Adding a touch of personalization, the console features customizable controllers, RGB lighting on the joysticks, and Legion Space software, enabling players to adjust settings and key mappings to suit different games.
