Ascendant Studios, in collaboration with EA as the publisher, has announced that their first-person magic shooter game, Immortals of Aveum, is set to be released this summer.

Immortals of Aveum coming on July 20

Immortals of Aveum, developed by a team that includes veterans from Call of Duty and Dead Space, is scheduled to launch on July 20, 2023.

As announced, Immortals of Aveum will launch for $69.99. The game will be released on several platforms, including PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, and PC through Steam, Epic Games Store, and EA App.

"A world of wizards and warfare"

The storyline of Immortals of Aveum centers around a character named Jak, a Battlemage who comes to realize his magical abilities later in life.

The game announcement promises fast and fluid first-person combat that focuses on spell-based attacks, which is easy to learn but satisfying to master. Players will be rewarded for their clever chained attacks and well-timed counters.

As players progress through the game, they will be able to unlock and upgrade over 25 spells and 80 talents. There are also hundreds of magical gear pieces to discover, upgrade, and craft, allowing players to synergize their playstyle across all three forces of magic.

The game's storyline revolves around Jak and Lucium's elite group of Immortals, who must race against time to uncover the mysteries of Aveum's past to save its future.
