Hogwarts Legacy patch released for PS5 and PC, bringing performance improvements
Avalanche Software has released a patch for Hogwarts Legacy that was previously delayed, specifically for PlayStation 5 users, as well as a new update for PC users.
Warner Bros. released an update for Xbox and PC Hogwarts Legacy players last week, but the update for PS5 was delayed. However, three days later, a new update was released for both PS5 and PC. The developers said that this update improves overall gameplay performance, stability, and online connection, with a focus on improvements for PS5.
Upon reviewing the patch notes, it can be observed that the recently released update focuses on fixing crashing issues on Sony's console and enhancing performance for the game's Fidelity Mode. Additionally, the patch includes various improvements and modifications related to gameplay, such as resolving issues with cinematics and saved games.
Following this, PC patch, which focuses on improving the game's performance and stability, as well as addressing an issue related to rebuilding save game lists.
Additionally, according to community manager Chandler Wood, the next patch for Hogwarts Legacy will resolve a problem with the Biscuit quest that has caused some players to be unable to complete it.
Hogwarts Legacy, a game based on the Harry Potter series by J.K. Rowling, is developed by Avalanche Software and published by Warner Bros. Games. The game is scheduled to be released on April 4 for PS4 and Xbox One, and on July 25 for Nintendo Switch.
