Hogwarts Legacy release date has been postponed again for PS4, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch platforms.
Hogwarts Legacy, the action role-playing game set in the Harry Potter universe, has been delayed for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One consoles and Nintendo Switch. Let's check the new release date of the upcoming game.
Hogwarts Legacy gets postponed again
Announced at the PlayStation 5 event held in 2020, Hogwarts Legacy was opening the doors to the Harry Potter world, which many Harry Potter fans have been waiting for for many years. However, the game, which was first announced to meet with players in 2021, was postponed first to the end of 2022 and then to February 10, 2023.
In the statement made on the official Twitter account of Hogwarts Legacy, it was announced that the game will be released on Xbox One and PlayStation 4 on April 4, 2023 instead of February 10, 2023.
It has also been announced that the game's previously unannounced Nintendo Switch release date will be July 25, 2023. Avalanche Software, the game's producer company, also stated that this delay is necessary for "a better experience on all consoles."
However, the February 10 launch date is still valid for PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X users. In addition, users who pre-order will be able to start playing on February 7, 2023 with 72 hours of early access.
