Blizzard has announced that the open beta for Diablo 4 will take place on March 24-26, with players who have pre-ordered the game gaining early access from March 17-19. The beta will be playable on various platforms, including PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Windows PC, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X. Players will need to redeem their beta code through a Battle.net account to participate in the beta test.
The upcoming open beta for Diablo 4 will include the game's prologue and first act, allowing players to explore the Fractured Peaks, level their characters up to 25, and complete side quests and dungeons beyond the main story of Act 1.
However, according to an interview (via IGN) with game director Joe Shely, progress made during the beta will carry over only within the beta weekends, and not to the full version of the game.
