First look: Next-generation Forza Motorsport set for 2023 release
Microsoft recently previewed the new Forza Motorsport. The game will be released later this year.
Microsoft announced a few days ago that the upcoming main installment of the Forza series, called Forza Motorsport, will be coming to Xbox Series X/S and PC in 2023. The announcement was made during a developer showcase event and a new trailer was also revealed.
Forza Motorsport will test the boundaries of what is possible
The new Forza Motorsport, according to Chris Esaki, creative director of Turn 10 Studios, is seriously working on handling. However, the ride will also be altered as a result of cosmetic modifications to the vehicles. For instance, a spoiler mounted in the rear will produce more downforce. Additionally, the game's tire modeling has been updated to account for wear.
Additionally, Esaki stated that the vehicle will undergo physical modifications during the race. The visual change will be significantly influenced by dirt and dust, in addition to damage. Because collection of high and low air pressure will be distributed according to each car's chassis, contamination from this track will vary from vehicle to vehicle. As a result, each vehicle's dirt collection will be different.
Turn 10 Studios, the developer of the game, stated that Forza Motorsport is the most technologically advanced racing game ever created. The game will launch with over 500 cars, realistic dirt and paint wear, and dynamic weather and time of day. Additionally, for the first time, the game will include 5 new tracks, including Kyalami in South Africa, increasing the total number of tracks to 20.
The game will offer 4K resolution at 60fps and will feature support for ray tracing technology. A trailer showcasing the changes and upgrades in the game is available for viewing. The game will be released on Xbox Series X/S and PC in 2023. You can watch trailer of the game below.
