Reports show that the game developer has announced plans to release a "next-gen" (actually, current-gen) update for PC, PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and PS5. The upgrade will include new Creation Club content, which is currently unknown, and features with a high frame rate and 4K quality. The related game has been known with its improved visuals and now company is determined to take it a few steps ahead.
The company's move is quite strategic. They basically aim to keep people busy until the new game shows up. At least, the strategy is familiar.It's an effort to keep people interested in an old game while work continues on a long-awaited sequel, like CD Projekt Red's The Witcher 3 patch.
