ASUS's new gaming console, ROG Ally, continues to expand in Europe
ASUS, which wants to improve its position in the gaming world, places a lot of trust in its new device, the ROG Ally model, for this purpose.
Asus announced the release of the ROG Ally console in May, positioning it as a rival to the Valve Steam Deck. Following a recent firmware upgrade, the console began receiving rave reviews for its remarkable performance. Currently, the console has been officially launched and is now accessible for the general public to purchase.
After kicking off pre-orders in Japan and China, the ROG Ally console has now made its entry into the European market, starting with Italy. The handheld gaming device is now available for purchase in Italy at a price tag of €799, accessible via the official ASUS website in Italy or from accredited ASUS resellers. A promotional deal is also available which grants a three-month Xbox Game Pass Ultimate membership for free with every console purchase.
At the heart of the ROG Ally is the AMD Ryzen Z1 Extreme processor, complemented by an integrated AMD Radeon GPU, combining to deliver a powerful performance. Running on the Windows 11 Home operating system, the console provides a smooth and familiar user interface.

The device comes with 16GB of LPDDR5 RAM and an internal storage of 512GB PCIe 4.0 NVMe M.2, providing users with abundant storage for their games and files. Featuring a large 7-inch touchscreen display with Full HD resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels and a refresh rate of 120Hz, the console guarantees a responsive and immersive visual experience. With a display brightness of 500 nits and a 7ms response time, the device promises vibrant visuals with minimized motion blur.
The ROG Ally comes with two in-built speakers and a microphone array for an enriched audio experience. Moreover, the strategic placement of the command buttons enhances the gaming experience, providing effortless control.
In terms of connectivity, the console supports Wi-Fi 6E (802.11ax) with triple band support, promising quick and stable internet connectivity. It also features Bluetooth version 5.2, allowing for smooth wireless connections. Additionally, the device comes with a 3.5mm audio jack, a USB Type-C port, and a microSD card reader for flexible connectivity options.
Equipped with a 40Wh 4S1P 4-cell Li-ion battery that supports fast charging of up to 65W, the ASUS ROG Ally ensures extended gaming hours with minimized downtime thanks to its quick and efficient charging capability.
