Fans of the iconic video game franchise, Fallout, have a treat coming their way. Prime Video has announced the debut of its original series based on the game, set to stream in 2024. The series adaptation will take viewers into Vault 33, a subterranean haven located in Los Angeles.
Originating in 1997, the Fallout video game series paints a harrowing picture of a post-apocalyptic future. After the devastation of a nuclear conflict, humanity finds refuge in underground bunkers known as vaults. The game, and by extension the TV series, evokes visions of a future as imagined by 1950s Americans. A teaser showcased during Gameson 2023 provided glimpses into the bleak wasteland and the interiors of Vault 33.
