Todd Phillips has shared the photo of Joaquin Phoenix as Arthur Fleck on upcoming Joker: Folie à Deux film set. As the filming has begun, Phillips said "Day 1. Our boy." in his post. In the photo published on the official Instagram account of Todd Phillips, who directed the film, we see Arthur Fleck, whom we know as the Joker, shaving.

Re-directed by Todd Phillips, the sequel brings back Oscar-winning Joaquin Phoenix as Arthur Fleck for his performance in the first film. While the plot of the sequel is unknown, Phillips co-wrote the script with Joker co-writer Scott Silver.
The first movie was about an aspiring stand-up comedian who works as a clown and suffers from mental issues. In the sequel, that is Joker: Folie à Deux (or 'Joker 2') along with Phoenix, Lady Gaga will take role of Harley Quinn and Zazie Beetz will act Sophie Dumond. Brendan Gleeson and Catherine Keener are also expected to star in the cast.
