Netflix's ‘Stranger Things’ stage play debut date confirmed

Stranger Things is one of the most loved shows in Netflix. The stage play debut date is also confirmed.

Stranger Things has fans all over the world, it is Netflix's one of the most loved shows of all times. Later this year, Stranger Things: The First Shadow, a stage drama, will make its debut at the Phoenix Theatre in London's West End. The production was revealed by Netflix a year ago.

The sci-fi/horror series is set in the 1980s, but the drama takes place in Hawkins in 1959, more than two decades earlier. Key figures like Joyce Byers, Jim Hopper, Bob Newby, and Henry Creel's younger selves will appear in it (aka Vecna). The First Shadow "will take you straight back to the beginning of the Stranger Things story—and to the beginning of the end," according to Netflix. The fifth and final season of the program, which doesn't yet have a release date, is implied to tie into the play.
