Netflix will soon increase the password crackdown limit
Netflix has announced some important news for their users. Here are all the details.
Netflix has lost a lot of users in recent years due to password sharing. The company then imposed a limit on this practice, but the streaming giant is now aiming to make some changes. Netflix asserts in that particular statement that widespread account sharing hinders their capacity to invest in and enhance their services. The brand's detailed statement is as follows:
Netflix will soon increase the password crackdown limit
“Our capacity to develop our company and invest in Netflix in the long run is jeopardized by today's widespread account sharing (more than 100 million homes). Although our terms of service only allow one family to use Netflix at a time, we understand that this may be a change for some members. As a result, we have put a lot of effort into developing new features that enhance the Netflix experience. Some examples include the ability for subscribers to transfer a profile to a new account and see which devices are using their accounts. As we roll out paid sharing, members will be able to pay more to share Netflix with people outside of their country" Netflix says it expects “some cancel reaction” as well.
