A beloved universe with fans ranging from 7 years old to 70 years old Marvel is going to have a huge make over. The universe, which includes many hit movies from Spider-Man to Iron Man, is now generally broadcast on the Disney Plus platform. Productions that previously became hit on theathers are now appearing on broadcast platforms in a world that has changed with the coronavirus. Now, Disney has announced that they will bring many innovations in the Marvel universe.
Disney CEO explains the "newness" for Marvel
First of all sequel movies might be a history. CEO said “The sequels have generally worked out well for us but for example, do you need a third or fourth? Or is it time to move on to other characters?"
He added "I think we just have to look at what characters and stories we're getting into, and if you follow the course of Marvel over the next 5 years, you're going to see a lot of innovation. We'll be returning to the Avengers series, but with a completely different set of Avengers."
Layoffs in the tech sector also took place at Disney. Last month, CEO Iger announced that Walt Disney Co. would cut about 7,000 jobs as part of its company-wide cost-saving plan and "strategic restructuring."
