The two brothers are currently working on the final season of Stranger Things. It is known that the Duffer brothers continue to work on other stories set in the same universe as well as Stranger Things, so fans will not feel really sad for a long time.
The Boroughs, which will be executive produced by the Duffer brothers, is the new project of Jeffrey Addiss and Will Matthews. The series will tell the story of "a seemingly colorful community of retirees in the New Mexico desert" and will feature a group of extraordinary heroes who come together to face an extraterrestrial threat.
"We've been fans of what Jeff and Will wrote for a long time. When they brought us the idea for The Boroughs, we knew right away that they had something very special on their hands," the Duffer brothers said in a statement.
