Now that Warner Bros. Discovery has stated that it will arrive in spring 2023 rather than summer, the anticipated combo of Discovery+ and HBO Max streaming service might come soon.
There is serious competition among streaming giants right now. Even leading streaming giants like Betflix have suffered some losses. As such, some services decided to join forces. These names include HBO Max+ and Discovery. This combo may come sooner than we think. Plans to combine HBO Max and Discovery+ into a single streaming service that will launch in the summer of 2023 were recently announced by Warner Bros. Discovery (WBD).WBD President and CEO David Zaslav stated in the most recent earnings call that the combined service will arrive in the United States in spring 2023, which is earlier than anticipated.

Reports show that the streaming services as a whole now have 94.9 million subscribers, the majority of whom are customers of HBO and HBO Max. That includes 2.8 million brand-new subscribers, with 2.3 million of them hailing from overseas markets. WBD intends to launch its own free ad-supported streaming TV service (FAST) in 2023 alongside the combined streaming service. "That enables us to distribute our content in multiple ways because we are the company with the largest TV and film library in the industry," stated Zaslav.
