Adidas launches investigation into Kanye West
The famous rapper is allegedly showing obscene images of his ex-wife Kim Kardashian.
Adidas is launching an investigation into a series of allegations of inappropriate behavior against the famous rapper, including Kanye West making the brand's employees watch porn and showing obscene images of his ex-wife Kim Kardashian. The German clothing brand said in a statement on Thursday that the accuracy of the claims has not yet been clarified.
The statement included the following:
"We don't know yet if the accusations are true. But we certainly take these very seriously and have decided to launch an independent investigation into the allegations without delay." According to Rolling Stone's report, employees of West and Adidas' joint brand Yeezy listed the famous rapper's inappropriate behavior in an anonymous letter sent to the company. Employees claimed that West showed them obscene photos and videos as a method of bullying.
It was stated that the famous rapper tried to intimidate and control employees with "provocative, sexist and generally targeting women". In the same letter, it was claimed that Adidas executives were aware of West's "problematic behavior" but turned a blind eye to what happened. Many of Rolling Stone's interviewees, who requested anonymity, confirmed that West had made them watch pornographic content, including his own sex tapes, at job interviews and meetings. Adidas ended its collaboration with Kanye West, with whom it had been collaborating for more than 10 years, after the famous rapper made anti-Semitic statements last month.
