Xiaomi to enter desktop PC market very soon to rival Apple and Intel
Two Xiaomi products have been revealed that hint company might enter to mini PC market soon.
According to Weibo leaks, Xiaomi may be aiming to enter the desktop PC market. The images and details provided suggest that the Chinese technology company might soon release a device that looks like a Mac Mini and a miniature tower PC.
Xiaomi might enter the desktop PC market
According to leaks, the two unique mini PC models were supposedly wanted to be introduced by the Xiaomi on December 1. In this date, Xiaomi would also launch the Xiaomi 13 series. However, the event was postponed.
As detailed in the leak, Xiaomi Host Mini PC, bears the small form factor (SFF). According to source, this PC only has a 100W XM22AL5X PSU. Other hardware in the system remain a mystery yet.
However, the other system whose name is unknown are detailed greater than Xiaomi Host Mini. According to source, this PC will have a form factor that is similar to Apple's Mac Mini and Intel NUC.
As reported, this mini PC from Xiaomi will have Ryzen 7 6800H APU processor with a Radeon 680M RDNA2 GPU. This processor only has 45W TDP. Moreover, it will be backed up by 16GB RAM and 512GB SSD. Lastly, it is rumored to be priced at $570. We expect these two PCs will be unveiled at the Xiaomi 13 launch event.
