Redmi, a sub-brand of Xiaomi, is getting ready to introduce the Redmi Note 12 series today. But this is not all the news. Xiaomi has been quite busy on working their brand new products. Here is what we know on company's new laptop.

The Xiaomi Book Air 13 laptop will be available alongside the brand-new smartphones. The laptop is said to be the brand's thinnest and lightest to date. The specifications of the forthcoming laptop have been leaked by multiple sources prior to its release.

Xiaomi Book Air 13 specifications

According to a previous JD listing, the laptop will have a 13.3-inch OLED display with a 16:10 aspect ratio, a 60Hz refresh rate, and a resolution of 2880 x 1800 pixels.The laptop will be powered by 12th Generation Intel Core U series processors under the hood.The processors in question are either the Core i5-1230U or the Core i7-1250U.With 10 cores (two performance cores and eight efficiency cores) and 12 threads, these two processors are very similar.The i7 model can boost up to 4.7GHz, while the i5 model can boost up to 4.4GHz, is the only difference between the two.

The chipsets will be paired with 512 GB SSD storage and 16 GB of LPDDR5-5200 RAM.The laptop will have a thickness of 12 mm and a weight of 1.2 kg.Xiaomi claims that the laptop has a 58.3 Wh battery with 65 W support, despite its thin and light design.Last but not least, the laptop will feature built-in Bluetooth 5.2, a few Thunderbolt ports, and connectivity for Wi-Fi 6E.
