The Huawei MateBook E 2023 has been introduced with its unique features
Chinese tech giant Huawei has finally officially introduced the MateBook E 2023 model, which has been making headlines with leaks for a long time.
Alongside the MateBook Air, Huawei has introduced the MateBook E 2023 tablet in China. Primed as a formidable rival to the Microsoft Surface Pro, this device boasts a wealth of notable features such as a 120Hz OLED panel and a versatile 2-in-1 design. It's equipped with a built-in kickstand and a detachable keyboard, enhancing its usability and adaptability.
In terms of specifications, the Matebook E 2023 shines with its 12.6-inch OLED display, sporting a refresh rate of 120Hz. It runs on the Intel Ader Lake-U processors, refined iterations of its predecessors. Contrary to expectations, the new MateBook E has bypassed the Raptor Lake-U successor CPUs, such as the Intel Core i5-1335U and Core i7-1355U options. Instead, it employs the 12th generation Core i5-1230U and Core i7-1260U 10-core processors.

Continuing on the list of upgrades, the MateBook E 2023 offers up to 1TB of storage – doubling its predecessor's capacity. It includes the Iris Xe Graphics iGPU series and accommodates up to 16GB of RAM. Retaining the 2,560 x 1,600 pixel resolution and a 16:10 aspect ratio, this device aligns with the 2022 MateBook E model. However, the refresh rate has been impressively enhanced to 120Hz.
The MateBook E 2023 maintains a 42Wh battery, augmented by a 10.8Wh battery nestled within the keyboard accessory. The keyboard features Bluetooth connectivity, a significant upgrade compared to the Microsoft Surface Pro 9.
Regarding pricing and availability, the 16GB+512GB configuration of the MateBook E 2023 is available in China for 7,499 yuan, roughly $1,068. The 16GB+1TB variant retails at 7,999 yuan, approximately $1,137. Further details on the global availability of the MateBook E 2023 are anticipated to be announced soon.
