Microsoft Edge makes it easier to share files between your computer and mobil
Sharing files between your computer and smart phone might be hard sometimes. But Microsoft is determined to make it easy.
While transferring between devices should be an easy process, it can sometimes become a challenging process for users. For this reason, different companies are trying to make this situation easier with the methods they develop from time to time. Microsoft also offers a new feature in this context.
If you have a Galaxy phone, you can already transfer files between your Windows PC or laptop and your Android smartphone using Microsoft's Phone Link app. Apple also makes it easy to transfer if you use iPhone and Mac. Now, Microsoft is developing a method for sharing files between more Windows, Android, and Mac-based devices.

Drop is the name of this feature, which is currently being evaluated in the Canary version of the Edge browser. It will become one of the browser's sidebar widgets that provide additional features. Interestingly, Microsoft chose a messenger-like user interface rather than a file browser. You can send files by dragging and dropping them, but you can also send messages. This is useful if you want to remind yourself of something or write a note about a particular file. You can do more with Drop.
The Drop interface is more user-friendly for people who already use Edge as their primary browser, which is a benefit of using this rather than OneDrive directly. The fact that a file can be accessed from any device that is signed into your Microsoft account after it has been uploaded is another advantage. Sharing between multiple devices (desktop, laptop, phone, tablet, etc.) is made easier by this.
