Lenovo has recently announced the Legion R7000, the latest addition to its acclaimed Legion series of gaming laptops. This new model comes with an array of impressive specifications designed to cater to the needs of gamers.

The Legion R7000 is powered by the AMD Ryzen 7 7840H processor, combined with an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4060 GPU. This GPU is equipped with 8GB of VRAM and supports DLSS technology, enhancing gaming performance with Ray Tracing capabilities. The laptop also boasts 16GB of DDR5 RAM and 512GB of PCIe 4.0 storage. Its 15.6-inch Full HD display promises an immersive gaming experience with 300 nits of peak brightness, DC dimming support, and a 144Hz refresh rate.

Priced at 6,499 Yuan (approximately 909 US Dollars), the Legion R7000 is scheduled for pre-order starting today, 8th December 2023, with sales commencing on 11th December 2023. Additional features of this laptop include a 100 percent sRGB color gamut, 100W PD charging support, and a TrueStrike Keyboard with a 1.5mm key travel.

The Legion R7000 appears to be a direct successor to the Legion R7000P, introduced in June 2022. The R7000P, launched alongside the R9000P, was configured with up to an AMD Ryzen 7 6800H CPU and an Nvidia GeForce RTX 3050 Ti GPU. However, the new Legion R7000 offers more advanced hardware compared to its predecessor, despite a slightly lower refresh rate of 144Hz compared to the R7000P's 165Hz.
