Following the recent launch of the Dragonfly G4 notebook in China, HP has unveiled its next line-up for the global market: the Pavilion Plus 14 and 16 laptops. Tailored for those seeking a blend of mid-range pricing with top-tier display quality, these laptops are set to leave an impression.

The Pavilion Plus 14 is equipped with a range of processors, from the Intel Core i5-12500H to the i7-12700H, giving users options to suit their needs. It provides a choice between the Intel Iris Xe Graphics or the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2050 LT GPU. On the display front, users can opt for a 14-inch screen with 2.2K (2240 x 1400) IPS or a more crisp 2.8K (2880 x 1800) OLED resolution. This laptop can be customized with up to 16GB of LPDDR5x-5200 RAM and storage options peaking at 1TB via the PCIe Gen4 NVMe TLC M.2 SSD. Powering the Pavilion Plus 14 is a 3-cell, 51 Wh Li-ion polymer battery, and the device weighs 1.44 Kg. For those mindful of aesthetics, it’s available in an array of colors: Space Blue, Pale Rose Gold, and Natural Silver.

Shifting focus to the Pavilion Plus 16, it brings to the table either the 13th Gen Intel Core i5-13500H or i7-3700H processors. Graphics-wise, it shares options with its 14-inch counterpart but introduces the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3050 discrete GPU. The laptop’s centerpiece is its 16-inch 2.5K WQXGA (2650×1600) display, further enhanced by a 120Hz refresh rate. Similar memory configurations are available, going up to 16GB of LPDDR5x-5200 RAM and a max storage capacity of 1TB. Weighing slightly more, the Pavilion Plus 16 tips the scales at 1.89 Kg and is presented in two colors: Pale Gold and Natural Silver.

In terms of pricing, the 14-inch Pavilion Plus starts at $849.99 with 16GB RAM and 512GB storage, with shipping anticipated to kick off in September. Its larger sibling, the Pavilion Plus 16, carries a price tag starting from $999.99 and is set for an October release.
